I can not believe it is officially summer…and July! This year is flying by incredibly fast.
This month, with the season change, most of my “monthly favourites” are clothing that I have bought for the warmer weather or summer related products.
Sandals! Summer is here and sandals are a big must-have in my wardrobe. This year I had to update my sandals collection with an every-day sandal. I chose these tan coloured Sandals from Aldo.
Second item(s) on the list are these AMAZING Shorts from Dynamite!! They are a linen material and SO COMFTY. I own them in green, tan and black and will be awaiting more colour options as they are my favourite shorts to wear.
On to dresses! Besides these linen shorts, I live in dresses during the summer. This Dress from Boathouse is my new favourite as it is beyond lovely and very comfty. Just throw it on with a pair of sandals and head out the door!
Now on to skin care…I have recently discovered the brand Yves Rocher and have become obsessed. I have been using their Soothing Micellar Water Toner to help tone and calm down the rosacea on the skin and it works like magic. I instantly noticed a difference in my skin. I have been using this product for close to one month now and am 1/4 way through the bottle. I will be repurchasing.
The second product from Yves Rocher that I purchased and have been loving is the Lemon Basil Exfoliating Shower Gel. The smell is amazing and it hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin, so that’s a plus! It has also been good for keeping the acne on my back at bay during the hot weather.
Last but not least, something I have been loving this month is Season Six of Suits. I highly reccomend the series Suits to anyone (and everyone). It has a very compelling story line, well put together humor and amazing boss female characters. Ps: the seventh season of Suits begins this evening, woohoo!!
That’s all folks! I hope you enjoyed my June favourites…even if it was a bit late (whoops!) Enjoy July!
Until next time,
