Monthly Favourites: November 2018

Is it just me or did November seem to really drag on?! I am so over this month and ready to begin decorating for Christmas.

This weekend I am moving to a new home and having wrist surgery. So the past couple of weeks have been incredibly busy for me. I have been trying to organize, pack, unpack, get ready for Christmas, wrap all of my gifts before being unable to use my hand, AND writing/scheduling 25 blog posts for the month of December for Blogmas. So the items in this blog post are items that have made my life easier and have kept me sane over the past month.

The next three items have kept me looking like I have my life together this month. First up is false lashes. I get the “Princess Set” done at Glow Day Spa in Barrie. These will last up to three weeks before having to get a fill and make me look like I have long, thick and beautiful lashes from the moment I wake up. If you are interested in getting eyelash extensions, read my blog post “Everything Eyelash Extensions”.

The next item on the list is dry shampoo. This has been a big life saver since taking my extensions out. I have been trying to wash my hair more infrequently and use less heat. My top two dry shampoos are Amika Perk Me Up Dry Shampoo and Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo.

If you would be interested in an entire blog post on the many dry shampoos I have tried over the years, comment below! The last beauty item that has been a lifesaver lately is Sephora Liquid Lip Stain. I always feel a thousand times better with a nice lip colour on. It makes me look I put a lot more effort into my makeup than I actually did! I have 7 shades in this lip stain and am OBSESSED. In the photo below I am wearing the shade #71 Pink Cashmere. It is the perfect every day lip colour as it just adds the most subtle pink tone to your lips.

The next item on this list are my brown OTK boots from Call It Spring. I am only five feet tall and these boots fit perfectly behind my knee without being too tall. They have been my go-to boot all month long.

Last, but not least, are these Air Wick Plug In Scented Oils in the scent “warm apple crumble”. This scent is perfect for making your house smell and feel like a home every day. I have one in every room of my new house!

Well, there ya have it folks. Five items that have ensured my sanity has stayed in tact this past month. If you try out any of the items above let me know!

Until next time,
